History/Origin

Gül is Turkish for ‘rose’ describing the flush of colour on the white flowers as they age.

Originally introduced by Rannveig and Robert Wallis from the Taurus mountains in Turkey. These plants are selected seedlings, a few generations removed from the original collection.
