Very narrow endemic known in only 3 localities around Nallihan-Beypezari in N. W. Turkey.

The species is deemed vulnerable under the IUCN red list criteria.

Named after the father of Turkish Botanist M.B.Guner, Professor Adil Guner, also a Turkish Botanist.
