History/Origin
Bellevalia has few cultivated varieties to date. This one was registered in 2001 as a variety of Bellevalia pycnantha.
Bellevalia pycnantha itself has since been identified as a synonym of Bellevalia paradoxa… doesn’t it get complicated!
Fortunately the flowers are beautiful on a sunny morning, whatever you call them!
